Amulet Pharmaceuticals, Inc has a deep and balanced pipeline supporting the long term goals of the Company. Amulet’s programs in gasterointestinal (GI) disease and pain include diabetic gastroparesis (AMU-301), other GI indications, such as functional dyspepsia, and osteoarthritis (pain)that address valuable unmet medical needs.In addition, we are actively collaborating with several government and academic laboratories to identify novel IP to in-license as well as maintain access to the latest science and technology. We have a collaboration agreement with NCI and share materials and data. We are continually evaluating in-licensing opportunities from the NCI. In addition, we have a collaboration agreement and a sub-contract with Georgetown University Medical Center to conduct research and animal studies in gastroparesis and agreements with several other leading universities.
Amulet Pharmaceuticals, Inc is addressing large markets ranging from motility disorders, such as gastroparesis and other GI diseases, including functional dyspepsia, IBS to obesity. Other addressable markets include the $30 Billion osteoarthritis (pain) market dominated by the $10 Billion non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID).
These markets are growing rapidly with the aging population at 5-8% Compound Annualized Growth Rate (CAGR) and promise to be lucrative well into the future. Our lead program in gastroparesis serves up to 3 Million patients in the US and up to 9 Million patients globally.
